Files for this survey have been stored on a 1.2 megabyte, 
5.5 inch floppy diskette. The floppy diskette contains 
3 document files and 1 data file. These files are
described as follows:


DOCUMENT FILES

  README.DOC  - The file you are currently reading.

  FORMAT.DOC  - Data format for recorded field observations     
                and analytical results. Explanation of codes 
                for field variables.

  104M.DOC    - A description of sample collection, 
                analysis, and preparation details as well 
                as codes for geological formations.

DATA FILES 

 104M.DAT - Listings of field and analytical data (ASCII
            format).  Data for each sample are stored in 
            single, fixed length lines.

            104M.DAT contains 785 lines of data.
