This CD-ROM contains the database associated with an updated version of the Peatlands of Canada map, released as Geological Survey of Canada, Open File 3834. The database has information about the percentage of land area covered by the four peatland classes (bog, fen, swamp, and marsh). The database is further explained in doc/html/metadata and doc/rtf/metadata. 

Digital data found on CD-ROM is separated into two separate directories (folders)
representing the two separate exchange formats used for this data release.
