2004 Yukon Wildland Fire Interactive .pdf File

The /pdf master directory contains two files.

1. YUkon2004Fires.pdf:  This document contains all the maps of fire boundaries for the 2004 fire season 
with an master mapsheet index key.  When the file is opened, a map of the Yukon is presented with an overlay
of the 1:250,000 NTS map series for Canada.  By clicking on a region of interest on this map, a subset map
is brought forward that shows the area that was selected. You can return to the original index page and select 
another region of interest for another map.

The maps have been produced at several different scales. Where the fires are road-accessible or near commmunities,
approximately one quarter of an NTS mapsheet is used as a base.  Outlying fires are mapped at approximately one
mapsheet per map for a base.

The maps have been designed to print on a small format printer and be reproduced in black and white.

2. Table2004Fires.pdf: This is a reference table that contains all of the 2004 Yukon fires over 10 hectares in
size, with their approximate latitude and longitude locations, start date and rough geographic location.

The other directory /pdf individual contains all of the fire boundary maps and the index map as separate files.
